Product Description:



The ZW8-12 automatic vacuum circuit breaker is a specific type of circuit breaker designed for outdoor use in high-voltage switchgear systems. It is specifically suitable for three-phase AC outdoor high-voltage switchgear with a rated voltage of 12kV and a rated frequency of 50Hz.
The primary function of the ZW8-12 circuit breaker is to control and protect the distribution systems in 10kV urban and rural power grids. It is responsible for switching on or off load currents and also for interrupting short-circuit fault currents that may occur in the power system.
As a vacuum circuit breaker, it utilizes a vacuum interrupter to extinguish the arc that forms when the circuit breaker opens during switching operations. Vacuum interrupters provide reliable arc interruption capabilities and are known for their high dielectric strength and excellent electrical performance.
The ZW8-12 circuit breaker is considered to be one of the most widely used, mature, and stable products in the power system.  Feature:



1.The ZW8-12 automatic vacuum circuit breaker is designed with anti-pollution ability. This means that it is capable of operating reliably even in environments with high levels of pollution, such as areas with heavy dust or industrial emissions. The internal insulation is designed to withstand such pollution and maintain the required insulation levels. Additionally, the circuit breaker utilizes air and epoxy resin composite insulation, which provides enhanced insulation properties and improves the overall performance of the breaker.
2.The circuit breaker is equipped with a missile energy storage operating mechanism. This operating mechanism stores mechanical energy that can be released rapidly to open or close the circuit breaker contacts. The missile energy storage mechanism is designed for efficient and reliable operation, ensuring quick and effective switching of the circuit breaker.
3.The ZW8-12 circuit breaker can be equipped with either a one-side (left side) or two-side separation switch. This allows for flexibility in the configuration and installation of the circuit breaker in the switchgear system. Additionally, it can be equipped with an external PT (Potential Transformer), which is used for voltage measurement and control purposes. The external PT facilitates accurate voltage monitoring and helps ensure the proper functioning of the circuit breaker in the high-voltage system.
